Why there’s no fixed price winner
Both retailers run weekly flyers, and the cheaper store for any given item flips depending on what’s on sale that week. A basket of national-brand staples might favour one store; a basket leaning on store brands or produce might favour the other. Region and store size matter too, since a Superstore in one city can price differently from one a few kilometres away.
Treat “which store is cheaper” as a per-item question, not a per-banner one. Comparing your actual cart against both stores’ current prices is more useful than picking a side once and sticking with it.

If you already shop at Superstore through PC Express, the practical question is usually whether Walmart’s current flyer beats specific items in your order, since that’s what a price-match request needs anyway.
