Delete your PriceGoose account

For PriceGoose: Grocery Prices, published by PriceGoose.

You can permanently delete your PriceGoose account and the data attached to it at any time, from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete your account from the app

1. Open the PriceGoose app and sign in, if you are not already signed in.
2. Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password to confirm that it is you, then tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.

If you cannot get into the app

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email support@pricegoose.ca from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Data	What it is
Account details	Your email address, password credentials, and login sessions
Scan history	Every product you have scanned, including barcodes, product names and brands, and the prices we found
Usage records	The scan counts used to apply daily and monthly limits
Feedback you sent	Any messages you submitted through the in-app feedback form

What is kept, and for how long

• Anonymous installation records. The record that an install occurred — an install identifier, app version, and install date — is kept, but your user account is unlinked from it, so it is no longer associated with you or any personal information. We keep these indefinitely to count installs.
• Server logs. Routine operational logs may contain an IP address and are automatically discarded within 30 days.

Location data sent to run a price search is never stored — it is used to run that search and then discarded. Your postal code and search radius settings are saved on your phone, not on our servers.
