Does Superstore Accept Flipp for Price Matching?

Flipp is useful evidence and a flyer-discovery tool. It is not the authority deciding whether a Real Canadian Superstore ad-match request qualifies.

Policy last reviewed June 9, 2026 · Flipp and public retailer pages; exact local terms require confirmation
It depends
The short answer

Superstore may accept a current competitor flyer shown through Flipp as evidence, but Flipp itself does not make the offer eligible. The local competitor, exact product, price conditions, dates, and current Superstore policy still control.

Use Flipp to find the ad

Flipp collects digital retail flyers and deals. That makes it faster to search several local promotions, but the screen where you found the price is only the starting point.

Open the offer and check:

Official rule

Flipp states that retailer or brand information should be verified with the applicable retailer when details conflict or may have changed. For a price-match request, the current retailer offer and Superstore’s policy are the sources that matter.

Open the underlying offer when possible

A direct retailer flyer or product page can provide additional context that a compact Flipp card omits. Preserve both the Flipp view and the retailer page when the offer has complicated terms.

Do not assume that a price qualifies because it appears in the app. The same concerns apply to loyalty prices, online-only offers, marketplace listings, coupons, and regional promotions.

Do this
Set the correct postal code or local market
Capture the retailer, product, size, price, and dates
Check the underlying retailer offer
Disclose loyalty or quantity conditions
Avoid this
Treat the Flipp logo as proof of eligibility
Crop away the flyer dates or retailer name
Use a flyer from another region
Submit a similar product with a different size

Flipp evidence can still fail

A clear screenshot does not solve a product mismatch. If the order contains a 500g cereal box and the flyer shows 650g, the products differ. If the flyer says “selected varieties,” confirm that the ordered variety appears in the eligible set.

The same rule applies when the competitor is Walmart, FreshCo, Food Basics, Metro, or No Frills. First confirm that the competitor is accepted locally, then verify the item and offer.

Keep the source current

Submit promptly and keep a readable copy of the ad. If support asks for more information, you should be able to show the same offer without reconstructing it from memory.

Frequently asked questions

Does Superstore accept Flipp for price matching?
Flipp can surface a current competitor flyer that supports a request, but Flipp itself doesn't decide eligibility. The retailer's offer and Superstore's current policy still control.
Is a Flipp screenshot enough evidence on its own?
It can be, if it clearly shows the retailer, local region, valid dates, and exact product. A cropped price with no retailer or product details is weak evidence.
