Who decides whether a price match is granted?
Understand the difference between PriceGoose product support and a retailer's price-match decision.
PriceGoose shows you what grocery retailers currently publish for stores near you. It does not grant price matches, apply discounts, or issue refunds.
The retailer decides, at the store, under the terms that apply to that location, product, competitor, and offer. A price shown in PriceGoose is information for you to act on — not a promise that any store will match it.
Contact PriceGoose support for help with:
- Installing or using the app
- Account access and email verification
- Camera and location permissions
- Location and search radius settings
- A product that will not scan, or a price that looks wrong
Contact the retailer for:
- Whether they price match, and which competitors they accept
- Whether a specific offer qualifies under their policy
- An explanation of a decision made at the till
- A refund or an adjustment on something you already bought
- Their current price-match terms
PriceGoose cannot change a retailer’s decision or intervene on your behalf.
